The Webb's Greenwood House Fire

Donation protected

Well, we almost made it ten years between house fires!

A fire started at the house Josh and I were renting in Greenwood in North Seattle on Sunday, May 8 at approximately 2 a.m. We believe it started in the attic, but right now we are not sure of the cause. Josh and I were home in Silverdale celebrating Mother's Day, so thankfully we were not sleeping in the house when the fire broke out.

A neighbor noticed the fire and dialed 911.  We were lucky that a fire station is located half a block down the street, so they arrived quickly and the fire was contained only to our residence.

We believe our possessions are a total loss. Josh and I are staying at a nearby hotel while we begin the search for a new rental.

We do have renter's insurance, but people are asking how they can help so we decided to create this GoFundMe page.

Josh and I are doing well and are appreciative of all the support. We are both alive and possessions can be replaced!

Updates to come. Thank you for all the thoughts, prayers and most of all, humor.
