Gayle's Medical Bills!

Donation protected
Back in 2013, Gayle gave me a call during the day. "Find out how we can get health insurance. I'm going to need to see a doctor."

That appointment got Gayle an IUD to deal with the extreme pain she felt during her period. For about 6 months, she was completely pain free. Then the pain gradually started to come back. A little at a time, and then extreme.

Since then, it's been a constant stream of seeing a doctor, trying something new, having it work for a little bit (or not at all), then trying something else.

Last November, Gayle went through a surgery to remove as much endometriosis as possible. It worked for a few months, and then the pain came back.

This year, Gayle got referred to a specialist who gave her the option of a hysterectomy. This is the nuclear option. It's been a long time coming and we've done a lot of thinking about it. The doctors believe that it's the best option for getting Gayle pain-free or at least drastically reducing it.

Hopefully, this is the last step in nearly 3 years of pain. But we're going to need some help. That's where you all come in.

A hysterectomy is a major surgery. While it's done outpatient, Gayle's doctor recommends that she take a month off of work. She's in the process of applying for short-term disability to cover this time, but it doesn't pay all our bills. We need to make up for time missed as well as help pay for the actual surgery.

Any amount helps. We love you all and will give updates as soon as we know more information.

Thank you!
