Book Series Marketing

My name is Judy Colella, and I'm the author of The MacDara Chronicles, a book series that addresses issues faced by many today - making the right choices despite negative circumstances and peer pressure; the importance of family; and seeing "heroes" as ordinary people who do what's difficult but right in extraordinary situations. Set in the context of a fictional tale that involves time travel, druids, angels, and glimpses into specific, fascinating points in history, the issues are nonetheless real - and timeless.

A percentage of all book sales will be donated to charities that help those in foster care. As someone who went through the foster-care system before being adopted, I have a great concern for those who are seeking their forever home, and appreciation for those who help them find it. Sales of this series allow me to give back to the system that did so much for me, and to do something good for all those kids who don't yet know the love and security of a family they can call their own.

But to achieve sales, media marketing is vital and expensive, especially when working with specialists in the field who can get these books into the public eye. I have received offers for extensive publicity, but have only limited time in which to take advantage of these - two weeks at most.

In gratitude to all those who donate, I will send free, signed copies of the first three books in the series, and a free, signed copy of every subsequent book as they are published (there are eight altogether).
