Blondie's Chemotherapy Fund!
On Friday August 5,2016, our dog, Blondie, had collapsed while going out onto the deck. Luckily she was still able to walk. We quickly rushed her to the vet. The doctor had told us her liver was enlarged and how she had trouble breathing because she had fluid in her chest. She stayed at the vet for the weekend. Today, August 8, we went to go visit her again but this time we took her brother, Blackie, along. Seeing her wagging her tail, jumping and running around when she saw us brought us happiness. When the doctor came into the room she had confirmed to us that Blondie had stage 3b lymphoma cancer. The doctor told us Blondie's cancer is very aggressive. Putting her down isn't an option for us, we want to start chemotherapy. Without the chemotherapy Blondie will only live a couple of weeks or months. With the chemotherapy, she can live up to a year if we're lucky. Blondie isn't ready to leave us yet. She is only 5 and so full of life. The doctor has given us 2 months to come up with the cost of chemotherapy, which is an estimate of $5,000. Please help us raise that money so Blondie can stay with us and her brother as long as possible.
