Tippy

Tippy was a member of one of our cat colonies that closed about a year ago when the property it was on was sold. Tippy was the last cat left!  Luckily for him, one of our wonderful feeders at that colony took him in to foster inside her home. Tippy was brought to the vet for an exam and shots, and senior bloodwork because he is an old cat. It turned out he had some very bad infected teeth and needed dental surgery.  During his procedure,  Tippy started to have trouble with his blood pressure while under anesthesia, so the dental extractions could not be completed. He is due to go back for the rest of his teeth removal which will include the need for antibiotics,  expensive pain medication and more blood work. The final cost is estimated to be around $1600.
