A precious baby boy was brought into this world on the night of May 15, 2016, as a result of a senseless act of violence that has left the city of Toronto looking for answers. At only five months old, he arrived much too soon, and is now in stable condition in Sunnybrook Hospital. His mother, Candice Rochelle Bobb, had her life taken on that night by a bullet to the chest, as a passenger in the backseat of while as a friend was being dropped off.

Rochelle, or Ro as she was affectionately called, was so full of life. She was the life of any gathering and had so much to share with her family and friends. She was full of many stories and jokes and was always there to keep your spirits up. There was never a dull moment when she was with you.

With the joy of the arrival of her newborn son comes the sadness in knowing that he will never see his mothers face or hear her voice. As Toronto Mayor John Tory stated in recent comments regarding this tragedy, “..no baby should come into this world without a mother.” This also holds true for his older brothers, aged 16 and 12, who are now also faced with a future without their mother.

Ro had many dreams and aspirations for herself and her kids, and understood the importance of a good education. It was important for her that the kids go to university and fulfil their own dreams. Please help us to raise enough money to allow them to see her wishes come true. Any amount great or small would be kindly appreciated.

Ro lives on in them. Rest In Paradise Ro. We love you.
