Venilda MacFarlane Medical Fund

Our mother Venilda "Shinny" MacFarlane was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer which unfortunately has spread to her lymph nodes & kidneys... In a few days she will also be undergoing a bone scan to see if the disease has progressed even further... As a result of the terminal diagnosis of 6-12 months to live, Mom is now unable to continue her community care position in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island... In order to keep her medical/insurance coverage she is responsible for the full premiums which are $348 monthly in addition to her other finances...  Mom is a kind soul who has had a tough life, but inspite of this has always been there to help anyone who needed it, without a moments hesitation... To this day she is still thinking about others and has asked us to also do something in her memory to advocate the dangers of smoking which  we are in the process of finalizing...
