FICMA 25

Este año celebramos un cuarto de siglo de vida y  NOS GUSTARÍA CONTAR CON TU APOYO para poder cumplir muchos años más. 

El FICMA es el Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente mas antiguo del mundo, el primero en abrir una ventana a la concienciación y sensibilización ambiental hace 25 años, utiliza el cine como una herramienta de educación y entretenimiento para poder inspirar una transformación social y ambiental tan necesaria estos días. Por este motivo te presentamos las mejores y más actuales películas que hablan sobre el estado del planeta, sobre nosotros mismos, sobre lo bien y mal que los humanos hacemos a la sostenibilidad de nuestro hábitat. 
Mediante documentales y películas llegamos a todo tipo de público (infantil, familiar, público joven y adulto) y nos encontraréis en diferentes espacios de la ciudad de Barcelona (CosmoCaixa, Universidades: UPF, UB y Blanquerna, los Cines Girona, entre otros) durante la primera semana de noviembre de 2018, en la que tendremos a ilustres invitados, realizadores y productores de todo el mundo, talleres y actividades infantiles sobre cine y medio ambiente y un Programa hecho a la medida de nuestras necesidades ambientales cotidianas: cambio climático, residuos, contaminación, océanos y mares, conservación, defensa de la naturaleza, derechos humanos.
Una vez terminado el Festival durante el resto del año, vamos a realizar diferentes actividades en escuelas y otros municipios de Cataluña y España, es decir, es un Festival que está vivo los 365 días del año!!

Como ves, el FICMA es más que un Festival de Cine a la usanza, es un evento que combina entretenimiento, cultura, medio ambiente y que habla de los más importante que tenemos en el planeta tierra, la VIDA!

This year we are celebrating a quarter of a century of life and we WOULD LIKE YOUR SUPPORT to be able to fulfill many more years.  

FICMA is the oldest international environmental film festival in the world, We have been the first to open a window to  work for an environmental awareness 25 years ago, using the cinema as a tool of education and entertainment with the aim to inspire a social and environmental transformation so necessary these days.

For this reason we present the best and most current films that talk about the state of  our planet, about ourselves, about the good and bad that humans do to the sustainability of our habitat. Through documentaries and films we  are reaching all kinds of audiences (children, families, young and adults) and you will find us in different spaces of the city of Barcelona (CosmoCaixa, Universities: UPF, UB and Blanquerna, Girona Cinemas, among others) during the first week of November 2018, in which we will have illustrious guests, filmmakers and producers from around the world, with workshops and activities for children on film and the environment and a program tailored to our daily environmental needs: climate change, waste , pollution, oceans and seas, conservation, defense of nature, human rights. 

Once the Festival is over as event FICMA continues  all the rest of the year, carrying  out different activities in schools and  Cinema Cicles  to other towns in Catalonia and Spain.  The Festival is running ALL YEAR LONG !!

As you can see, FICMA is more than just a Film Festival, it is an event that combines entertainment, culture, the environment and talks about the most important things we have on planet Earth, LIFE!  

This year we propose you to be an active part of this Festival and enjoy it before, during and after its celebration.
