Everyone meet Jake Perry from West Lothian who came into the world 28.05.2008 and sadly died at home with the comfort of his family on 27.05.2016 the day before his 8th birthday.
Jake was a normal young cheeky and funny boy playing with lego, watching his favourite football team and having fun with his family and friends until one day on the 15.05.2015 just 13 days short of his 7th birthday he was diagnosed with a medullablastoma on his brain. Jake had major surgery and it took 9 hours to remove the tumour then followed 6 weeks radiotherapy with anacetic and 3 cycles of chemotherapy out of 4 when before Christmas when he took a very bad seizure lasting an hour and chemotherapy was stopped.
Sadly, now Jake at the age of 8 is living out his last days at home surrounded by family and friends. He can no longer walk and is now fed by a feeding tube, he will only be with us for a short time.
His family are now making plans for his funeral, his father and mother want to give him the best and I hope to help them in anyway. If you can help this family at this sad time to have the peace of mind that they can give their beautiful boy the best it would be greatly appreciated.
