Jono's Journey

My name is Val Robus, I'm based in Sligo, Ireland. I'm trying to raise funds for my son Jono so his dream can come true.
Jono has several health problems, the main one being scoliosis and kyphosis. He had surgery some years ago and may need another surgery as he is in constant pain every day.
Jono's life revolves around Pokemon. This year he was lucky enough to win enough points to be invited to the Pokemon World Championships which will be held in San Franciso in August.
Jono also has Asperger's Syndrome and Pokemon gives him a chance to socialise with other, like-minded people.
Due to his health he cannot travel alone so I would need to go with him.
We would use the funds for the flights and as the event is in August we would need to achieve this as soon as the flight prices keep changing.
This chance means the world to him and I would love to see him fulfil his dream. He's had such a tough life so far but he never complains.

Just an update to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated. We are still hoping to raise funds as I didn't realise how expensive the accommodation would be. Thanks so much to you all for your support and lovely messages xx
