Matt & Bryce 911

It was the last day of school in Council Grove, KS. Bryce had graduated Sunday. Matt to be a Junior at Council Grove High School next year. The boys were starting their summer off sitting on the tailgate of Matt's truck, (see attached) Matt's truck was hit by a little man who ran away on foot from the scene of the crime shrugging off Matt's crys for help. With the impact estimated at 80 miles an hour the boys flew up than smack down into the rocky bank river below.
Today, both boys are in the Topeka hospital with injuries that have changed thier lives and have impacted their families and friends. Bryce was to start college football next Monday. I personally do not know Matt well enough but I thanked him today while holding his hand thanking him for saving my nephew's life. Matt crawled to the top of the river bank with six broken vertebra, a broken pelvis and a puncturd lung. All this while Bryce is laying face down suffacating in the mud with a concussion and a broken femur, plus cuts all over.
I'm just his aunt from Oklahoma who sees all of their suffering and want to help these boys and their families some way.
You may have heard of Council Grove, KS from The Ellen Show. It's a small community with a large and caring heart.
