Fragile Life

My name is Grace, I'm 19 and currently working part-time at a Bakery/Cafe. For the past week, I've been taking care of two lost kittens that I stumbled across in the back of my apartment complex. They are about 4-6 weeks old, both female, one being a calico and the other a Siamese mix. Originally, this fund only was going to be asking to help me through nursing them until they were healthy and ready to go to a new home, but unfortunately Siamese has fallen extremely ill this morning, and had to take an emergency trip to the animal hospital. Hopefully that will be the only trip she will have to take, but depending on how she does in the coming two or three days, she might need another visit to the hospital.

Heres how it works: I have a "kitty fund jar" where all the receipts from the money used on them will go in. Our goal may differ on upcoming events to higher or lower, but any extra remaining money will be donated to other funds, the animal hospitals, or other organizations that rescues animals.

"Once a life is gone, it cannot be brought back." I thought to myself today as I sat in the waiting room as they examined Siamese. They told me I could either let her go in peace, or to do some tests on her and try to get her healthy again, so I decided to let them figure out what was wrong with her. And thanks to that she is currently still with us, resting on my lap. I will do whatever I can to give her a chance and keep her alive, and it would mean so much to have others help us through this.
