Our Mission is to encourage local food production and ecological awareness through hands-on permaculture and homesteading education.
We are an environmental education organization starting a farm and permaculture ecological education program.
Currently (2016) we have our first lab on the ground of Mavis Manor. Here we have 1 acres of land to do micro experiment. In the past 10 years we've been learning new technique through trial and error.
We are looking to purchase an old homestead with an old orchard on 10 acres of land as a Fruit Forest and education center.
Goals and Milestones.
Our first goal will be to raise $2000 for all the legal paper work dealing with the 501c(3). This is the miles stone we are working on right now. 8 Sept 16.
Second goal will be to purchese the Old Homestead. ~$60,000 will be what we take from this fundraisers to acquire the land.
Finally, the last goal will be the ~$18,000 to be used to bring the old homestead up to working order.
