Send Simon Cowell to the Met

*FYI: ANY AND ALL DONATIONS will go to the Met's HD Live in Schools program! Donate and support kids learning about REAL OPERA!*
You guys, I'm pretty sure Simon Cowell has never seen an opera. Or heard a real opera singer. If he had, he would know that a "13-Year-Old Opera Singer!" is not a thing. Not that these kids aren't talented - their voices are lovely. What's not lovely, though, are the impressions that videos like these give viewers about opera. It pains my soul to see the comments on these videos:

"am i the only one who hate this type of music?"
SAD DAY.
I am trying to get enough money to buy Simon two tickets to the opening night of the Met's production of La Bohème on September 28th, 2016. I feel like it's a great starter opera.
I estimate that two tickets (maybe he can bring Mel B or Heidi) will cost around $600-$700.
Here's the link to the production:

Any excess funds will be donated to the Met's HD Live in Schools program, which sends kids to screenings of Met productions, as well as providing teachers with curriculum material. You can learn more about this awesome program here:

In case you aren't convinced that Simon doesn't know anything about opera, let's take a look at the most recent "operatic" performance he's praised:
