Angle Lake Firework Barges

This fundraising effort is aimed toward individuals who are interested in re-establishing a major Independence Day Fireworks Display on Angle Lake.  In 2014, the Shore Club lost the use of the floating platform needed to perform the display from resulting in a loss of opportunity for hosting the show from the middle of the lake. As a consequence, the show must now be performed off the docks located at the public park resulting in a smaller display and requiring that the boat ramp, beach and docks be closed and off limits to the public for the entire day.

The Angle Lake Shore Club Members have already successfully raised over 70% of funds toward the targeted goal of $24,000 necessary to build a new set of 7 barges to perform a larger show at a safer distance from the surrounding shoreline and thus eliminating any public access restrictions at Angle Lake Park.

Successfully achieving this goal of collecting $8,000 through the GoFundMe campaign will help to ensure that the community will have access to the facilities required to perform a major fireworks show for decades to come. Thank you for your consideration in making a generous donation.
