Help Linda Sarsour Get to DNC

My name is Linda Sarsour and I am a racial justice and civil rights activist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I am a YUUUUGE Bernie Sanders supporter and serve as a National Surrogate for the Campaign. I have never been so inspired by a political campaign, but Bernie Sanders message of equality, inclusivity and justice for all spoke to me directly. I have galvanized Arab Americans & Muslim Americans across the country to support Bernie Sanders for President and I am very proud of that.

As a Palestinian-Muslim-American I am not always welcomed in certain political spaces and I have often been maligned for my positions on many social justice issues. BUT Bernie Sanders, his campaign and all of his supporters have welcomed me and my communities with open arms. I am grateful for that.

I have been selected as a NEW YORK STATE DELEGATE to the DNC. I couldn't be more excited except when I learned how much it would cost me to travel, stay in designated hotels, and incidentals for 5 days. I don't like asking for money but I don't have any choice. Please help me bring my voice, your voice to the DNC so we can be part of making history together.
