Hello. My name is Jernecia. My mother has been in the hospital for about 3 weeks now.  She went in for what she thought would be a simple surgery and turnt into my worst nightmare. She recently had a slip and fall, and had to go in for surgery. Thats when everything went wrong. Surgery was performed on her why she was unstable and thats when everything collapsed. She went into cardiac arrest and flat lined, it took them 30 minutes to revive her. She is currently in a coma and is waiting to wake. I have faith that my mom is strong enough to come back. Since she has been in a coma she has had 3 strokes. The doctors gave my mom a 1 % chance of waking up but the God I serve will not let me or her give up that easily, all I need is that 1%!  She has gotten a tracheal feeding tube, and now its just about giving everything I have to God. My mother does have medical insurance but , and I am the only one here to help her on the daily basis. I am staying at the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas hotel everyday. I had to quit my job to be here to support my mom. We could use the help. Anything that can be given will be greatly appreciated. My mom is my eveyrthing and I need her here with me.
