Sponsor a Child Program (SACP)
My name is Norda Lewis the founder for Sponsor a Child Program (SACP). A program that is very dear to my heart and soul. This program was designed 9 years ago to assist the less fortunate students at my alma mater in Kingston, Jamaica with their back to school books, supplies, and uniforms. St. Joseph’s/St. Aloysius Alumni strive to assist all 48 students (some picture above) who are in the program for the 2016-2017 school year. Our goal is to “leave no child behind”
Growing up in the inner city I know how important it is to get a good education and strive to excel in society. Each year we assist these students it's a joy to see the smile and appreciation on their faces when they receive their packages. It gives them hope for the future. Some students go on to prestigious high schools and on to college.
We hope that you will be able to take part by giving a helping hand and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause.
It is our mission to provide assistance to the students and the community. We rely on the generosity of individuals and families for support, without your assistance we wouldn't be able to assist the inner city children the less fortunate each year.
We ask that you make a commitment to support our annual appeal by making a donation. Our goal is reaching $5000.00 by August 6, 2016 so we can purchase and disribute the supplies to the students before school re-open. we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference and will be greatly appreciated and will allow us to continue in our work.
Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.
