The Huls Family Fire Recovery Fund
Dear Everyone Reading This,
Our friend, Greta, and her family have suffered a terrible loss. |
In the early hours of June 5th a vicious fire consumed the family house in Scottsdale, AZ where she lived with her parents, Pat and Fritz, and her daughter Margaret. The fire has left them all homeless and their homeowner's insurance had recently lapsed. Pat and Fritz barely escaped without injury, as Pat had recently suffered a severe back injury in April and has been going through physical therapy for months. Thank God she was able to escape the house unharmed.
The devastation is heartbreaking, both physically and emotionally. The have lost nearly everything they own, including two of their beloved cats.
They are currently staying with family while they try to recover from this disaster, but they will soon need to find their own place to call home, and they will need help making that happen.
They are in desperate need of funding to pay for clothing, food, rent, pet care and other basic needs.
I have known Greta since I was a freshman in college and it has always been my privilege to call her my friend. The dedication and respect she has shown for the people in her life are remarkable. Anyone who knows her will tell you that she is the first one to run to your aid whenever or however or why ever you need it. And she not only never hesitates, she also never asks for anything in return.
That is only one of the reasons we all love her so much.
It is now our time to honor her friendship by doing everything we can to be there for her and her wonderful family.
Please help us help them by donating to this cause.
Any amount you can offer is greatly appreciated.
If you cannot afford to donate, then please send your prayers.
Peace and God Bless.
