Donation for Sheri Ellis

My name is Sheri Ellis.   I am a mother, tutor, and avid worker.   I love homeschooling my kids and love being a part of https://www.classicalconversations.com/.  This coming year will be our 4th official year (5th not in community) in CC.  After our 1st official year in CC I decided that our year needed something more for the memory work.  I tried making a notebook with worksheets and the kids LOVED it.  Apparently so did a lot of people, because I started recieving numerous thank yous and encouragements from people all over the US.  It has been such a blessing to read all of the encouragements from you.  Last year, making a notebook was almost halted as my computer died.  Upset and scared I wouldn't have anything to work with this year, I took to facebook, wondering what I should do.  The amazing encouragement and warm cyber hugs and help just meant so much to me.  I was told by several people to start a gofundme for a computer, so I did.  The blessing was unbelievable.  I was able to buy a new computer with in a week.  Well things have been amazing this year, and so many people have been asking again if there is a way they can donate to help me get my notebook pages done for cycle 1.   We were hit with another financial burden this year.  On the way home from picking up my family from the airport, I wrecked my car in an accident with a deer.  We live in the small town of Enterprise, Oregon in the Wallowa mountains.  It is 4 hours to the nearest airport.  To save money on a hotel, I decided to make the trip to and from in one day.  On the way home at 11pm at night a deer in the oncoming lane caught me off guard, it also made me miss the one that jumped out in my lane and just about totalled my car.  The mechanic said he was surprised not worse damage was done to us as he didnt think there was much that could be done for the car.  It was so upsetting because I had just gotten the car and hadn't payed for it yet.   I had to tell my grandpa that I had wrecked his car he sold us.  We payed him for the car, then we found out the mechanic was able to save the car.  So now we had to pay the mechanic too.  After we got the car back, the water pump went out and we had to have a mechanic fix that.  After 3 days of driving it, the fuel pump went out.  Another huge financial fix.  We are now hurting for funds that we are going to have a tough time paying for CC tuition.  I am needing to pull over full time over the summer and during the rest of our home school year in order to have the money to make tuition.  I am not a person who asks for hand outs.  I dont like taking charity.  I LOVE giving and doing for others and am not a fan of asking for help.  But my husband read all the comments on the facebook and emails and said since everyone is asking how they can donate, why not set up a go fund me?  It makes sense.  So here I am, once again at the feet of you all.  Feeling so blessed and touched that I have this community who reaches out and blesses others.  I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story.  Even if you are like me with lots of gifts to give, but no money, please just pray for our family.  Pray that our family will be embraced by the Lord's blessing, and that we will have peace and rest from financial burden for a while.  Thank you so much!
