Tragic Horsebox Fire
Donation protected
In the small hours of last night, a good friend of mine had an electrical fault in her horsebox, which caused it to go up in flames.
It's everyones worst nightmare.
Luckily they had been home for a few hours before it happened, they were so lucky it didn't happen when they were driving with the horses loaded.
Even though it is devastating enough to lose your horsebox in that way, what is worse is the fact that all of her showing clothes, tack and over 30 years worth of memories were in there.
The horsebox is insured, unfortunately none of it's contents are.
I have set this GoFundMe up for Angela Hesketh as she is a wonderful woman, who is always their for her friends, always there to help and advise anyone and I am hoping that the horse community will come together to at least help her get some of her showing clothes, tack and odds and ends back.
The money will be given in it's entirety to Angela when the campaign has ended.
None of this will replace the memories she has lost that she has gathered over the last few decades, but I am hoping it will help her rebuild and be able to create new memores.
So please, donate as much or as little as you can, every £1 will help, and please share this amongst yourselves, and lets show everyone how supportive the equestrian community can be.
I know that Angela will be extremely thankful, no-one deserves to go through anything like this and this will mean the world to her.
