Help Save Chrom The Cat

I'll subtract what donations go to paypal from to goal to be consistent.

Hello! I'm Paulina or Ina for short and here's a quick laydown of this situation here:
Chrom has been in and out of the vet for the past 2 months. He has been suffering from chronic urinary blockages back to back. These urinary blockages only happen to male cats and cause them extreme pain and can even lead to death if the cat is unable to urinate. Due to all these emergency vet visits my family has already dished out over $2,000 trying to treat these blockages and since they are rapidly reoccurring the doctor suggested Chrom to get the perineal urethrostomy (P.U. surgery) for cats, which essentially widens his urethra so he can pass any blockage. He already had his 3rd blockage on June,13th and is in dire need of this surgery.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford this $3000 surgery and my parents are thinking of putting him to sleep. Chrom is only 4 YEARS OLD and has plenty of time left in this world. I DO NOT want to euthanize him just because we cannot afford a simple surgery. He's a very sweet lovable cat and he doesn't deserve to be put to sleep. Any donation is appreciated even if its $5 it'll help a lot .
Thank you for your time and consideration.

My bro's side of the story:

Last year, after moving with my father into his girlfriend's home. I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful 4 year old Tabby named Chrom whom accompanies the family of my father's girlfriend and her two daughters. Initially a timid cat, over the past year we've become close and although he's not my cat I've done my best to look after him and happily give him all the company and care I can.

In May, Chrom was diagnosed with a urinary blockage and for the last month and a half he's had a difficult battle. After the first visit to the Vet they were able to clear some blockage and he was placed on antibiotics along with a steroid. He has also been given Hill's prescription Urinary care cat food, and multiple bowls of water have been placed around the house to increase his water intake.

Unfortunately his condition has yet to stabilize.  A few days ago (June 8th) he was brought into the vet once more for a check up and it was recommended that if his condition failed to improve after taking the medication we should consider surgery.

Sadly,  those responsible for the care of Chrom have decided that the $3000 surgery is much too expensive and it would be best to put him down. The girls and I have tried to make a deal with them in helping with the costs, however the fact is that what we are able to give isn't nearly enough for them to consider the surgery.

It pains me to see him curled under a chair day in and day out knowing that a wonderful cat with many years and once full of life may be put down so soon, simply due to a lack of money. All I wish is for him to happily live out the rest of his days.

We are fundraising to cover the costs of his surgery and medical costs which have accumulated during the time he has been sick, so that he may have the opportunity he deserves, to live for many more years.

Even the tiniest donation towards his medical costs would be very meaningful to Chrom and us.

Thank you for your time and support.
