Richlands Creamery

Hello! My name is Coley Drinkwater and together with my father, brother, sister-in-law, grandparents and a great group of guys we run a 230 cow dairy farm in southern Virginia. Our size dairy is the fastest disappearing dairy in the United States and if we want to continue to farm, we need to diversify. I have been interested in starting our own creamery for 10 years now and am ready to turn that dream into a reality!
My goal is to build a creamery to pasteurize our own milk and to direct market fluid milk and ice cream locally by the spring of 2017. My ultimate goal is to make ice cream that tastes so good, you actually stop what you are doing and take time to enjoy your day.
We love our cows, our land, and working with each other. Being able to sell our own milk and milk products will enable us to keep farming and doing what we love. It would truely mean "the farm to us" (get it? instead of meaning the world to us") if you supported us.
Many thanks from our family of humans, and lots of rough, wet, slobbery kisses from the cows!
