Nibi Onji Canoe Journey
Donation protected
Boohoo | Wachiyu | She:kon | Greetings
Nibi Onji Canoe Journey is a ceremonial canoe journey from Stoney Point (Aazhoodenang) to Garden River First Nation following along the Eastern shore of Lake Huron.
This is a journey to raise awareness for the water. It is to find out what more we must do. This information we gather while on the waterways will guide any future work. We are looking to take up our responsibilities as Nishnaabek (First People's) of the Great Lakes
You can find more info on the route, resting places, etc on out Facebook Page: https://m.facebook.com/canoejourneynibionji/
At first we did not wish to ask for money. We wanted to see how far we could get without asking our friends, relatives, supporters to donate. However we are still short of funds. Your donation will make all the difference.
With love & respect
