Axel Andrews and Friends

After the horrific events that occurred this weekend I find myself unable to find a way to help those who were directly affected and forever touched. Many of these amazing men and women who were lucky enough to make it out alive are now faced with the problem of being out of work and having bills that need to be paid.
My cousin Michael also known to many as Axel Andrews was one of the fortunate ones that survived this horrific shooting. He was bartending that night and quickly was able to make it to saftey and hide for what has been explained as hours. He not only hid for hours, but he helped others who were inside the dressing room with him. He guided police to their location over the phone and helped them all escape through an ac unit that was pushed in by police. Michael was a true hero that night and made sure everyone else was out before climbing out himself. We got lucky on Sunday morning and many others did not... and for that we are all very grateful and very sad at the same time.
In the coming weeks, Michael and many of his friends are going to have to relive these events and find a way to move on. That is not going to be an easy task and on top of that they are going to have to pay bills, buy food, and live on a daily basis. I can't imagine any of them wanting to walk back into a club/bar right now to make money and I do not think they should have to. I am hoping this gofundme page will help many of them gather the strength to move forward and stay afloat.
I can't send my cousin an edible arrangement after something this severe. I can't tell him that it is going to be okay and to smile through this. I can however make sure that when he and his friends are able to walk outside and take on the world again that they are not suffering financially. Please help him and his friends get through this and show them that we are with them and with Orlando!
