Sinatra For Seniors Phase II

Bringing Music To Seniors To Improve Mental Health and Family Life.
We recently came up with an idea to bring bands, specifically those that play the music of Frank Sinatra and the more modern classic music of that period through the 70’s and bring them to seniors through band tours that would go to senior centers, theatres and concert halls where seniors of all states of mind could hear the music of their past. The plan is to bring this music to places and to people whom it could help but where it is not always common to put on a live show of that magnitude or type of music.
It has been shown that when mentally disabled seniors hear the music from their past, it often triggers powerful, positive memories, triggers that can bring them out of their stupor and back to life. It has also been found that this family oriented live music is loved by people of all ages, thus it tends to bring families together to enjoy it as a unit.
The problem is, tours and traveling bands cost money and the seniors we strive to reach do not have the financial resources to attract bands like this without outside support. So, we are coming to you, asking for your financial help. We are asking you to help make this project become a reality.
We need to raise approximately $50,000 for this to work. This will cover the cost of the band, contacting and booking the facilities across the country, the music, the travel and the lodging and support staff and gear to actually make this happen.
I encourage you to look up the Brian Choper Jazz Project with Peter Cannella,
