Support workers of LaconiaFest 2016

LaconiaFest 2016 was supposed to be an amazing time for all involved, and for most it was, but unfortunantly some of the workers were not paid in full for their time and efforts.
If you're reading this, you no doubt have already heard the stories of what happened during Laconia Bike Week with the festival closing early, and employees trying to keep the show running in order to raise money for unpaid workers. Around a half dozen members of the Stage, Grounds, and Security Crews are still unpaid. Additionally, the festival's VIP chef was left completely unpaid.
This money will be used entirely to make the remaining unpaid workers whole, and ensure that they do not risk losing their housing, or struggle to feed their families. There is a myth that everyone working on a festival is just partying and having a good time. Sure, it can be a blast, but the vast majority of people who help to bring these kinds of events together are hard working people who often are struggling to make ends meet. As soon as funds begin to come in they will be dispersed to provide these workers what they desirve.
When the Festival was in danger of being shut down this past Thursday, we had to make a choice, and when the team was asked if they were willing to stick to it at the risk of not getting paid in full only three people said, "no." Why is this a big deal? Because their sacrifice helped to provide entertainment to thousands of people who had a blast watching amazing bands perform on Thursday and Friday night. That was pure Rock and Roll, and downright American.
Please help these folks who sacrificed so much hard work to make so many people happy.
