I am Caden and I am a Bernie Sanders Delegate from Texas who is heading to Philly and I need your help! I'm a middle class wife, mother, and activist. I am very active in my community, and care about my neighbors.  

I am absolutely honored to represent SD 19 in Philadelphia. I am dedicated to a vision of fairness and equality in all realms. I have experienced the "status quo" in my own life, and I refuse to accept it any longer. 

“If not us, who? If not now, when?”

My compassion and empathy is matched with a progressive vision and tenacious ability to stand my ground. I am here for Bernie and I am here to fight for our families, friends, and neighbors. I firmly believe talking with others and effectively communicating is key, especially with people we may have disagreements with from time to time. The golden rule is my motto!

…Health care must be recognized as a human right, not a privilege.
...Higher Education Needs To Be Accessible to All Our Children If We Want to Compete in a Global Market 
...Global Warming is Here. Our Grandchildren Will Suffer for The Actions We Don't Take. 
…I support and will fight for the rights of our LGBT brothers and sisters.
…We have a moral obligation to provide the best quality care to our Veterans.
…When workers between the ages of 55-64 have no retirement savings...and more than a third of senior citizens depend on Social Security for virtually all of their income..and when 1 out of 5 senior citizens are scraping by  on an average income of just $8,300 a year... I firmly believe we should expand social security.
…We need to end corporate loopholes.
…Corporations should pay their fair share taxes.
…I believe the right to control ones body and finances -is directly related to that persons destiny and whole heartedly support the social, economic, and political equality between the sexes. 
…I fight and support $15 minimum wage because if you are working 40 hours a week, you shouldn’t be in poverty. 
…I support campaign finance reform and have participated in Democracy Spring and Democracy Awakening.
