Hello everyone,
My name is Vernecia Howard, a lot of my family and friends know me as "Necie". I'm married and have 4 beautiful children: a 20 year old daughter, 15 year old son, and 10 year old boy/girl twins.
I'm starting this campaign because I need help with oral surgery expenses: this will include implants, and also some dental repair. I lost my first tooth 20 years ago after the birth of my 1st child; I have now lost a total of 3 teeth. Not only are my teeth shifting, but I also experience irritation, sores, and cut gums in the extracted areas. This is very painful at times.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes in 2013. While speaking with my dentist, she told me that dental work can sometimes improve the numbers associated with diabetes.
I have dreamed for many years what it would be like to have my smile back. I recently graduated from college, with a degree in Social Services, and will be working very close with the public. Having this surgery will really boost my confidence and make me feel so much better.
