HV's World Championships Funding

In 1999, 17 years ago, Harry Vogel captured his first gold medal at the Inline Speed Skating World Championships representing Team USA. He then represented USA in the years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2008, 2010, and 2012 and captured a total of 13 world medals, 6 of them being gold. Harry has devoted more than half of his life to the sport that he loves. His journey has not been an easy one, but his loyalty never strayed from the sport of inline speed skating and team USA. After the USA team trials in 2013, Harry thought his days of competing at the World Championships were over. He instead opened up his home and his heart to athletes from all over the United States as a coach and a mentor. But this year, 2016, Harry decided to strap on his inline skates again and attempt to earn his spot on Team USA for the 9th time. After just 3 short months of hard, consistent training, Harry dropped 25 pounds and got in shape to compete. Not only did he earn his spot on the team, he was Track Champion and ended the entire competition with the most points in the Senior World Class Men Division. Harry has much more training to do to prepare for this year's world championships, but he is hopeful that he can capture his 7th gold medal and represent his country and his sport in Nanjing, China. But without your generous donations and support, it will not be possible. With the money donated Harry will be able to purchase a plane ticket, hotel accomodations, food, entry fees, and coaches fees for the competition, along with any miscellaneous purchases that may be necessary along the way. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Harry's vision is to see USA on top of the podium this year and he can't do it without a little help from his supporters, friends, and family.
