Homeless Veterans Campaign

Our Most Important Duty
Stop for a moment and visualize how our lives might be without the dedication and sacrifices of our armed forces veterans gave to us and our country. Would we have the rich lives we have? Would we have the education system we have? Would we be coaching football? Would we have any freedoms at all?

It is sad to hear we have homeless veterans in this great country. In the Minneapolis area alone homeless veterans total 4000 4500. Nationwide there are an estimated 150,000- 200,000 homeless veterans. They don’t only need a place to sleep at night, but also need appropriate winter clothes for the harsh winters. Please consider helping the Chi-Hi Football Cardinals raise the funds to help even a few homeless veterans through this winter. All proceeds will be given to the Hands Foundation.
The Chi-Hi Football team will also be collecting new and gently used winter boots, large warm clothes, hoodies, cotton and wool sox, long johns, personal hygiene products and men’s underwear at Dorias field September 16th 2016. Last year the football team collected enough clothing to fill a trailer and raised $1300 in a miracle minute campaign.
