Katelyn

Katelyn is a sweet, spunky 9 year old who was enjoying some family camping in Tyler, Tx when she fell off her scooter striking her head against a rock. She lost consciousness. EMS was contacted and transported her to the local ER where they discovered she had sustained a skull fracture and internal bleeding. They felt they could not provide the best possible care for her and Life Flighted her to Dallas Children's Hospital where she remains in ICU. She has since regained consciousness but not full awareness and at times she remains unresponsive to others. The parents have been told she is not out of the woods at this time and would remain in the hospital for a week or more. We are asking for donations for the family to provide funds for food and other amenities, as well as medical cost they will have (the helicopter ride alone is very expensive) and funds for bills they need to continue to pay even though they are unable to work at this time. Anything thing will help- especially prayers!!
