Remembering James Lee
Donation protected
The world lost an amazing friend, teammate, husband, son, brother, and human being Friday. James Lee took his last breath at the young age of 36. A combination of diabetic ketoacididosis and a pocket that attached to his pancreas that filled with fluid excreted from the pancreas that was corrosive. The pocket sat on an artery on one side and intestine on the other. The fluid in the pocket ate holes in an artery and intestine which caused a massive bleed out.
Everyone who knew James knew him as kind, larger than life, loving, the gentle giant, and a wonderful loving husband. In Jame's short time on earth he managed to accomplish so much and touch so many people lives. James was a pro football player, a business owner, an animal rescuer, a loving family man and an indredible friend. Jame's smile was contagious, he could brighten a room just by walking into it. When he hugged you, he hugged you with purpose and you could feel his love.
Any of us who knew James knew his immense, deep, pure love for his wife Leah. The two of them were an amazing team and set the bar for what a marriage and true love looked like. James expressed his love for Leah in every conversation he had, she was his love, his best friend and his biggest supporter.
As we all know the medical costs that Leah will have to endure along with the pain of losing her husband will be a tough road. My hope is that we can all come together and do exactly what James would have wanted and take good care of his girl for him. So whether you can afford to donate money, a memory or a prayer anything helps! Feel free to contact me if you want to know what you can do!
Thanks to everyone,
Amber
