Thank you for taking a few minutes of your time to rest your mouse on this page, and read about what we hope is to become the beginning of our family. Twelve years ago, my wife and I married knowing that in order to become parents we would one day start a process that would lead us to children in need of adoption. Through those years, we’ve thought and prayed long and hard about when and how, and we’ve decided that today is that day. Or, well, we decided that a few months ago. You know what we mean…

In the beginning of 2016 my wife and I started the home study process, which is only the first step. Since that time, we’ve signed many forms, scanned many documents, and answered many, many questions. We have in our heart to adopt siblings between the ages of three and seven, and have chosen Poland as the country we will adopt from. The idea that we would have the opportunity to be a mom and dad to children that might otherwise have been split up is something that has been on our heart for several years.

Going beyond this first step of a home study, however, is not for the faint of heart financially.  Ultimately, the approximate cost of adopting these children will be upwards of $45,000. Some of this we may eventually get
back through tax credits and some assistance through our employer. However, that is not guaranteed so we are asking for help. Any donation is a blessing that gets us one step closer to bringing them home.
