Support for family of Axel Loera

My name is Jenn Turner. I have been an educator in the Austin-area for over 10 years. During this time, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the family of  Axel Loera whom recently lost his life at the age of 14 - the case is still under investigation and hopefully with more time family and friends will receive more clarity regarding what happened.   Many of you may be friends or former teachers of Axel, or one of his siblings (Monica, Andrea, Aurik). The children have attended schools in Austin, including: Blanton ES, KIPP:Connections ES, Overton ES, Garcia MS, and LBJ HS . Many have asked for a way to provide to support to a family very much in need financially as they process this devastating loss. I did receive approval from Axel's mother before creating this page.   If you are able to donate, even a small amount, please do - It is greatly appreciated. Durante este tiempo, tuve la oportunidad maravillosa de conocer a la familia de Axel Loera, quien recientemente perdió su vida a la edad de 14 años - el caso todavía está bajo investigación y ojala con más tiempo, la familia y los amigos de él recibirán más claridad acerca de lo que pasó. Algunos han preguntado cómo pueden apoyar a esta familia de manera monetaria mientras procesan el dolor causado por esta perdida.
