Michael's Medical Emergency

This is my husband Michael McGuinness, back.  Last Wednesday 6/22 he had surgery on his back to relieve stenosis of his spin. Since being released from Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA, on 6/25,  his pain started increasing where he couldn't sit, walk even to the bathroom or sleep, the Dr told us to get to his office.  We went back to our Dr yesterday, Dr. Silcox, and had X-rays taken, he gave us bad news. There was a complication after the surgery. He now has a fracture in L3 & L4. The X-rays taken shows a crack & gap in that area. He is only allowed to get up and use the bathroom. The doctors may have to go back in and do another surgery. This could be detrimental right now if he moves a certain way that could make the fracture worse and paralyze him.  This is happening on July 4th weekend and all I can do is watch him.

We need the money ASAP. I need to get help, which is one area where it will be going. I can't afford to continue to pick up any more scripts, last week I spent $200 for scripts and hospital expenses (food, parking). He does get his scripts reimbursed  but it takes weeks from his insurance. I can't go to the store for food because I can't leave him alone. My life is on hold and my small art business is on hold until he is healed. 

Why this means so much is because we have no family here in GA to help. I have grown children in other states but they can't come to help physically, or financially. He hasn't slept in an entire week because of the pain and I'm can't help but cry because of his pain every day.

I would be beyond grateful for any donations. My faith and trust in the Lord is abundant and I'm leaning on His strength & wisdom, unfortunately I have my own health problems and I can't take care of him as much as I am able. This complication has taken everything out of both of us, and taking him back & forth now to hospital and Dr.s. Next week he has another set of CAT scans & MRI to do.  My husband cries all the time and there's nothing I can do. He's afraid he's never going to walk again from the complication and his worry of not being able to hire help, and the ability to get around, just adds more pain to the pain he is in already.
