Dax's Big Fight

Please help Kirsten and Damon as they support Dax while he fights cancer.
Dax was diagnosed with neuroblastoma and will be undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the tumor before it is removed. The family has had to temporarily relocate from Trail, BC to Vancouver to have quick access to BC Children’s Hospital. Damon has taken a leave from work in order to be with his family during this time.
Any donations will be used towards the increased costs of living away from home including meals, maintaining their household bills, and travel between Trail and Vancouver for doctor’s appointments once Dax is released from hospital.
If you would prefer to support Kirsten and Damon offline, VISA or Safeway gift cards are also appreciated.
Any funds not used will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital at the end of Dax’s treatments.
*UPDATE* I have increased the goal to $7500. In part because I am blown away by the generosity of everyone who has donated. Within two days the original goal was beaten by almost $1000!
The other reason I have increased the goal is they are getting more information on Dax's treatment and he is facing at least 12 weeks of chemotherapy. The cost of being away from home for this long is obviously more than the original goal.
