The sudden and tragic passing of our dear sweet Katie has left all who knew her stunned, shocked and deeply saddened. Katie was the kind of person that could light up a room with her smile, and was a friend to all she met whether they liked it or not. If you knew her, you most certainly have lots of stories, a lot of laughter, a prank, or a song that she burst into. Life with Katie was one crazy adventure after another and with every adventure she left memories in our hearts, and smiles on our faces.
While we have beautiful memories of Katie, her three precious children, Zach, Amanda and Kyra are devastated and impacted by her passing in a very real way. They have lost their Mom, the person that cares for them, consoles them, gives them advice and is there for them. As they struggle to work their way through this they are also now burdened with the task of taking care of the expenses that are left behind. This is something that no child is ever prepared for. As we mourn the loss of Katie, let us come together and help her children.
Many have asked what they can do to help and our main concern is Zach, Amanda and Kyra, and the burden they bear now and in the future. We have set up a fund for Katie’s children to help them with these unexpected expenses and hopefully to help with some of their future needs as they navigate this new life without their Mother.
We cannot thank you enough for your condolences, thoughts, and prayers during this monumentally devastating time.
