Help Ian have a future
Greetings.
My name is Gabriel, and I'm setting this campaign up on behalf of my American friend, Ian, who is in a dire situation, and in severe need of financial support.
Throughout his life, Ian has suffered worsening degrees of mental and physical abuse directed at him by his mother and stepfather. He is 21 years old now, and the violence has gotten to the stage where his daily life is an almost unbearable task; Ian's family has kicked him out of the household several times over the years, and right now, at this present moment, he's scraping by in the streets of New Haven, Missouri, an inhospitable and drug-ridden town with a high rate of violence and human trafficking.
Despite his best efforts, Ian has not managed to secure a part-time job, let alone a stable, paid position. He suffers from a range of physical ailments which have negatively impacted his chances on the job market, and, despite his chronic anxiety and depression, Ian was recently denied disability benefits by the state. He literally has no means of survival whatsoever.
Ian has computer technician's certificates in CompTIA A+ and TestOut PC pro, and his big dream is to raise enough money to leave his old life behind in the United States where he has no future, and study abroad, here in Finland, for a degree in computer science, which he is very passionate about.
We calculated that around 2000 US dollars would be enough to get him started on that path. All donations are highly valued and appreciated, but time is of the essence. If this campaign can reach 200 people who are generous enough to donate ten dollars towards a good cause, Ian's predicament could be solved quickly and painlessly.
The funds will go towards the following expenses:
-One-way airplane ticket to Helsinki International Airport from Missouri.
-Food items and other survival necessities for the next few months.
Any donation exceeding 30 dollars will receive a personal piece of art - drawing or otherwise - of your choice from me.
If you donated 30 USD or more, please contact me via my business email at: [email redacted] or on my deviantArt or Facebook pages.

Again, every little bit helps, and all donations are highly appreciated. If you're unable to donate towards Ian's campaign, signal boosts and shoutouts will also help a great deal, so spread the word if you at all can.
Thank you ever so much in advance for your contribution!
