Seamus fund for MND treatment
Donation protected
My brother Seamus was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2013. While it was initially classed as a slow developing form of the condition, it has now started to effect his day to day lifestyle and take away his independence. Seamus now feels that this is the beginning of an unpleasant downhill journey towards the inevitable... But he won't give up without a fight!
An opportunity has arisen for Seamus to trial a new alternative therapy abroad. The cost of this treatment will be in the region of €30,000, a sum which we, his family and friends, are endeavouring to raise for him. A committee has already been set up in Athlone Eire to raise awareness and organise fundraising events on Seamus' behalf. Here in England I am planning on organising some events in the coming months which I hope many of you will be able to support.
If you are in a position to do any fundraising of your own or to make a donation, however small, please follow the attached instructions.
Thank you in advance for whatever support you are able to offer.
