Kurt Klessig's Support Fund

Kurt Klessig was injured during an armed robbery attempt at Union Avenue Tap, where he was working on Sunday July 17th. Kurt was shot in the arm and had a bullet graze his chest. He was flown Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee where he has since undergone extensive surgery to repair the damage done to his right arm. He is expected to have another surgery tomorrow (Wednesday 20th).

Kurt currently has movement in all 5 fingers, but does not have feeling in two of them. He is in an extreme amount of pain and at this time asks for no visitors or phone call as they grapple with the situation.

There will likely be mounds of medical bills that are incurred after this tragic “wrong place, wrong time” event.

Berta is a close friend of Kurt’s, and is in frequent contact with his fiancé Mary. I am Berta’s daughter, and the more tech savvy person who is putting the fundraising in motion. We will all do our best at providing you with updates as Kurt, Mary, and their families heal from this tragic event. Any donations will go directly to Kurt.
