Transgender Support - CTSAR Plus
Donation protected
Do you identify as Trans or Non Binary and need support or a supported/semi supported affordable break? OR maybe if you are the partner, a family member or a friend of a Trans or Non Binary person, you witness real struggle and you want to help in a practical way that you think could do a world of good and make a lasting difference?
If yes to the above, please help me to provide online support and establish an informal 'safe haven' where YOU or the person your thinking about now can relax for a while, feel safe, acknowledge and not judged.
Hello, I'm Kaz Neumann, aka 'Prof.'
I am a 53 year old Transman - the Founder/Facilitator of CTSAR Plus which is a Trans facilitated, Transgender/Non Binary Service based in and serving the South West of England.
Formerly known as CTSAR/Cornwall Transgender Support and Resource, CTSAR was Cornwall's 1st Independent Transgender Organisation - the only information 'hub' for the local Trans community.
In December 2010 I launched CTSAR/Cornwall Transgender Support and Resource single handedly with only a tiny, one off NHS 'start up' grant. I simply had to take the initiative because there was zero Trans specific service provision for the Trans Community in Cornwall - sadly, it seemed we 'Transfolk' in Cornwall were only begrudgingly acknowledged and neither really cared for nor cared about! We needed HOPE!
I can attest to the above, because the only real Trans specific support and understanding that was available to me, came from my wonderful partner and two amazing local Trans people.
I am glad to say that CTSAR now CTSAR Plus is a service which has been truly celebrated in it's launch and for its innovation - it has been extremely welcomed and is reducing the feelings of 'isolation and fear' that many of it's Service Users had previously experienced.
Please take a look at our Website for more information: ctsar.org
I am now raising money to continue to offer online support and to establish a small, safe and informal 'home from home' Respite facility for Trans/Non Binary individuals that just need a little 'time out' - Gender Reassignment can be a harrowing process!
The money raised will be solely used to continue online support and to establish a much needed and suitable space, which I hope once established will become partly self funding, The ethos of this space will be based on the promotion of personal Wellbeing and Healing, built on the fundamental foundations of truth, honesty, self acceptance and love.
To all who are reading this, I am appealing to your benevolent side. Please open your hearts, minds, purses, cheque books and wallets to a very special and much additional needed resource.
CTSAR Plus needs funds now or as soon as humanly possible.
Your financial support could help me completely realise the dream I have had for many years:
Stage 1: CTSAR Plus has already succeeded in stage 1 of it's plan - since 2010, the provision of an ongoing and vital service to a really underfunded and minority community.
Stage 2: CTSAR Plus wants to be able to provide a 'safe haven' for Trans/Non Binary people who need an affordable break, acknowledgement and non judgemental understanding.
It won't just be me that will be thankful of your financial support. There will be many many others over the years who will be thankful to you for making a real difference to their lives - a little respite at a crucial time can go a long long way to making a real difference.......Bless you!
Kaz.
