Ford Family Help

Orson Isaiah Ford was born on April 21, 2017. The next day, the nurses and pediatrician noticed that there was something wrong, that his stomach was hard and he couldn't hold down any food. Within hours, he was transferred to the NICU of another hospital via ambulance. On the 23nd of April he underwent surgery for a major bowel blockage due to a severely underdeveloped intestinal tract and colon. He has been in the NICU since his second day of life and is expected to stay until he is at least 1 month old, depending on further action possibly needing to be taken in the future. Another baby born on this day with medical complications is making major news, the Kimmel baby. Here is another example of a family trying to make ends meet through the toughest of circumstances. The team of neonatologists believe that cystic fybrosis is a possibility and are continuing genetic testing. Updates on his testing will be posted once results are available. At this time further surgeries in the near future are looking plausible. 

We all know raising a baby is expensive; however, with a one partner income situation due to Orson's medical conditions and inability to attend any type of daycare this situation is one in which you could help. Orson has insurance, but his family could absolutely use help with the bills that are not covered, any co-pays, medical supplies required at home to manage his condition, cost of living expenses and some peace of mind.
