This gofundme has been updated from "Remembrance of Tromain" to "Justice for Tromain J. Mackall." On August 22, 2016 a Kentucky coroner identified the remains found in a Grayson County creek to be Tromain and subsequently his death has been ruled a homicide. Tromain was brutally murdered. On August 5th, it was established Tromain died from multi-modal asphyxiation based on the coroner’s report. According to the coroner, Tromain was suffocated in more than one way. Tromain's body will be transported back to Maryland, where the family will lay him to rest. In turn, the family anticipates a trial will ensue shortly to prosecute his ruthless murderers. The funds raised from the campaign will allow his family to be present at pertinent court appearances and dates.
Tromain Mackall, a native of Prince Frederick Maryland, graduated from Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, MD in 2005 and served in the Navy until 2007. He was a proud member of the LGBT community. Tromain left behind a 6 year old son, his mother (Bertie Mackall), his father (Marshall Mackall), siblings (Terrance Mackall, Thaddeus Mackall, Tyrone Mackall), nieces and nephews, close cousins (Ashley Howell, LaToya Brooks, Steven Brooks, Lisa Brooks, Terry Jones, Duane Jones, Tawanda Long, Ciera Gantt and many more), and a slew of friends.
Tromain's family feels a deep sense of loss. His mother, Bertie, has been struggling with her health since this heinous tragedy was confirmed to have happened to her son. Bertie spoke with her son daily.
In remembrance of Tromain Mackall’s life, Missing in America also created a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXQr4rx8GNc.
Tromain’s family reached out to Missing In America (MIA) to assist with his search in coordination with Richard Winchestor of Northeastern Kentucky Search and Rescue (N.E.K.S.A.R). MIA is an organization that helps families search and find their missing loved ones at no cost.

This campaign is to raise money in efforts to locate Tromain J Mackall. Tromain is a 29 year old father who has been missing since the early morning hours of July 24th, 2016. As told by his girlfriend, Simone Dahlia, Tromain was last seen around 1 and 2 AM "extremely intoxicated, [on] a country road, very dark, and unfamiliar." Tromain relocated to Owensboro, KY in January 2016 to be with his girlfriend Simone Dahlia. He has not been to work since he has been reported missing. Tromain is originally from Prince Frederick, MD where all of his family is working around the clock to locate him. As of today, Simon Dahlia has severed ties and communication with the family of Tromain and we have been working with the sheriffs department. Tromain's cell phone hasn't been used since the night of his disappearance and there has been little to no leads. Friday, July 30th was the first time the news would air his story after much pleading from his first cousin, Ashley Howell (who is heading his search efforts).
The money raised in this campaign will allow his close-knit family to make an eleven hour trip to search on foot for Tromain. We are very scared for his well being and we have exhausted our resources thus far. This money will allow lodging, rental car expenses, mass flyers and tools to search the highways and grassy fields he was last seen in/around for about 15 to 25 people.
The family was not notified of his disappearance until he hadn't returned to his home or contacted anyone for the first 48 hours. It is crucial that we have the opportunity to follow every lead we have collected so far. This is a very urgent and pressing matter! We appreciate any and all donations. His family is truly thankful for the circulation of this campaign, along with the missing person's Facebook post.
Thank you,
Family of Tromain J Mackall
