Hey there! We're Jam N Bakers and we are an ambitious youth organisation that are trying to help create a better future for the world we live in. Without all the fancy language, in short, we're a group of young adults trying to give back to our community. We have created this page in order to raise money for our trip to the Philippines. In 2018, Jam N Bakers will be travelling over 6,600 miles to help over 200 children in the Tarukan Village. The people in this village are not as priviledge as you and I; they are one of a few villages that have been destroyed by Mount Pinatubo, a volcano that erupted back in 1991. Though they are recovering well, they still need a lot of help in order to restore their homes. When 2018 comes around, we'll be giving the children some basic necessities, such as food and slippers. Some of our team will also be on a medical mission as student nurses and medical students, and we will bring what we have learnt into action. Not only that, but if we raise enough money, our engineering students will build a bathroom facility for the village. Something like this is a necessity for us, but it is only a priviledge to them. We are also running a few events, in order to raise some of the money, but we're still far from the target.
