On the 18th March 2016, Jason was involved in a snowboarding accident in Canada. He sufferered a serious spinal cord injury at C4 and is a quadriplegic. This was devastating news for an adventurous and physically active 20 year old who loved surfing, rugby league and snowboarding. While the news hit him hard, Jason has blown us all away with the way he has handled his situation. His personality is shining through and he has responded with amazing positivity and hope. His end goal is to walk again. While some may think that this is far fetched, those that know him will have no doubt that Jason will give it everything he has got. The next 24 months is critical for his recovery of movement and Jason will be working very hard with physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists across the country to achieve the best result. We are hoping to raise some funds to help Jason with the ongoing costs associated with his rehabilitation and recovery. Thank you all so much for your support, it has been amazing to see how many people are concerned and want the best for Jason.
