Aarons medical & other expenses
Dear family, friends, and those we are yet to know, My husband Aaron is a wrecker driver and was shot while out on a call. Upon arriving to the scene, the officer asked an individual in the passenger seat to raise her hands, she looked up and darted across a field at that point my husband took off running after her. I sat in the wrecker watching my husband pursue this individual until they cut around a corner when i heard 4 gunshots. The next few minutes felt like a lifetime as i waited for someone to reappear from around the corner. Suddenly my husband bolted around the corner holding his side screaming that he'd been shot, he was going to die and loved me and our boys. Once at the hospital we found that Aaron would need surgery as the bullet entered his waist and exited just below his arm pit grazing his liver causing a bleed, his lungs causing one to partially collaspe and also grazed his vertabre causing it to chip a piece off. Aaron has undergone surgery to repair his lungs and alleviate the bleeding of his liver but he has a long road to recovery ahead. It is not like us to ask for help but Aaron is the sole provider for our family of 5 to include Aaron,Myself, and our 3 children ages 5,3, and 1 the oldest fixing to start school. The hospital, ambulance bills are piling up and Aaron will be out of work for several weeks-months making paying our normal bills such as rent, lights, water and food a struggle as well. We believe if Aaron wouldn't have pursued this inhumane individual, they would have shot the police officer possibly causing the life of him. Some might think he is crazy for doing what he did but i know he acted out of pure compassion for the lives of those around him.
We understand that everyone won't be able to help at this time but we would like to thank you for taking the time to hear our story and ask for continued prayers for a speedy recovery.
