Hi Everyone! Thank you for reading my story.
My name is Andrea Glasscock-Garcia. I never thought I would be explaining "Who" I am and asking people to help me. I am a grassroots activist, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Volunteer for American Foundation For Cardiomyopathy and a mom.
I was diagnosed with a "Suspicious Lump" about a year ago. Further results will only say it is 65% chance of being malignant. I had a Breast lift 12 years ago and because the tissue and implants are in the way they can not determine what is going on. I now have a ruptured implant and that is making me ill. Please research "Breast Implant Illness Injury" I am not having new ones placed I simply need them and the lump removed. It will not be covered by insurance until they do several more biopsies. I can not wait another year. I finally broke down and created this GoFundme because I am desperate. I run fevers, battle Shingles and have a wide plethera of Auto immune things going on.
After much research I am going to a Doctor in Costa Rica. He is cheaper and does a better job. I really have no vanity at this point I just want to be better.
If you know me or are connected to me in anyway you will know how hard it is for me to ask this. I am always the one volunteering time and resources to help others.
I am working only part time as a Paramedic due to physical limitations and make 15$ an hour. I teach CPR for a NonProfit that is Volunteered time as well.
I have donated countless hours and dollars to so many people and causes. I really feel I was just paying it forward now to this time in my life. Now I am the one asking for help.

I will keep you all updated. I have a large Support group of women battling the same Disease. I am shocked as to how many. I am planning on turning a lot of my efforts once I feel better after surgery, to raising awareness of this disease. Those who know me as an activist know I will accomplish this and take it on Large!
