High School Students Jeep stolen!

Hello! My name is Marcus, I am 17 years of age and go to high school at Bellevue West in Bellevue Ne. I am a very hard worker and work between 20 and 30 hours per week at a local grocery store. Last summer I got my very FIRST car! I was super excited. A 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4wd 4x4. I had the perfect car to get to and from to school to. I would never get stuck in the winter and it drove like a queen in the summer. I took very good care of my Jeep. 

My first day of senior year was approching last Friday! ( August 16,2016). And I worked very hard to save up money so that I was able to get through senior year without any financial issues. That very night my Jeep was stolen right out of the parking lot of my mom's apartment complex. I got up saturday morning getting ready to go into work, like a normal day; until I went outside. My Jeep was gone! I started to panic. My mom called the police and we waited for a call back to see if they could locate the vehicle. They did.

Officers said that my Jeep may not be driveable. My stomach immediately dropped and I couldn't believe it. WHO would steal my car? The Omaha police department did file a report, but no investigation whatsoever was done. No pictures, no fingerprints, no nothing. There was evidence in my jeep that I pointed out to them and they didn't seem to care ! 

Arriving on scene, I noticed my back left window had been broken out, I opened the door and seen that the ignition had been ripped right out and thrown on the floor, the middle console had been ripped out, as well as the glovebox, and every bit of information and belongings were stolen. Even all the light fixtures and wires were cut. Officers started the vehicle to see if it could run, but it couldn't. I had it towed, and inspected to see what was wrong. On Monday I got a phone call at work telling me that there is a hole through my engine with some type of rod, and that he doesn't have a solution. A brand new engine alone is a little over $2,000. Being that the vehicle was so old and that I couldnt afford full coverage we decided to have liability as our insurance, so NONE of this will be covered.

I am in desperate need of a vehicle and am saving every bit of money I can to get one but I need help. My mom is a single mom of five and she helps as much as she can. I go to school full time, and work as many hours a week as I can but its just not enough. Everything Ive worked for, for the past year has been ripped out of my hands.
