Public Court Kids to Nationals

Donation protected
Just this weekend, our team clinched the USTA Florida Sectionals and qualified to represent the state of Florida at the USTA National tournament in Rancho Mirage, California. The tournament is in just a few weeks and Hayley and I would love to be able to attend with our team. As you know, travel can be expensive on such short notice. We are appealing to our pals to help us along the way. Funds gathered will be used for airfare, accommodations, tournament fees, and ground transportation for the two of us. I know we’re not a cute little league team trying to make it to Panama City for a summer baseball tournament---nor are we the East Compton Clovers trying to beat out those cheer-stealing Rancho Carne Torros at the National Cheer Championships—but we are your favorite public court kids trying to help our team bring home a national championship. Before you close this page, we’ve provided some logical points to encourage your participation.

If you are reading this, chances are we’ve purchased one of the following items from you or your children over the past decade:

-A 5 pound tub of mediocre cookie dough that probably took 6 months to be delivered

-An imitation Tervis cup with the logo of your child’s elementary school

-An overpriced roll of Christmas wrapping paper from a catalog that also sells seasonal cheese logs

-5 boxes of thin mints during our diet

- Chocolate Pecan Delights….the $9.00 version of a $4.99 box of Turtles

- A World’s Finest Chocolate Bar…we’re actually not mad about this. We wish one of your kids were selling them right now. But not the variety pack kind… that classic chocolate bar with almonds.

-A subscription to In Touch magazine that arrives so often, we only have time to browse the pictures before we’re  3 issues behind.

- $35 candle

- A piece of jewelry that we’ll never wear, but we’re all about showing my moral support to your endeavors

You get the picture.

In all seriousness, the turnaround time for the tournament is just a few weeks, and that is why we’re looking for sponsors. We’d love to travel with our team to represent the state of Florida at the national tournament. But  I’m sure you’re still thinking “Wait, what’s in it for me???” Hayley and I guarantee the following as a token of our appreciation for your kind donation:

-Early donators will receive a limited edition autographed photo of Hayley and Amanda as a gift for your generous donation.

-Live Facebook updates and videos  filled with shenanigans for your viewing pleasure.

-If your business would like to donate—Amanda is  willing to use the skills she acquired in the one advertising class she took in college to create a one of a kind commercial starring both Hayley and Amanda

-Larger donors will be eligible for a chance to win “An Evening with Amanda and Hayley” ---this includes dinner prepared by Hayley and musical performances by Amanda ‘Kenny G’ Swearingen. While Hayley serves up one of her delicious meals, Amanda will play everything from “Hot Cross Buns” to “Lean on Me” on her middle school saxophone.

If you're still not convinced, look at it like this--the average cost of a ticket to The Comedy Zone is $10-15, and we've been providing comedic gold for you free of charge for years.

Thank you for taking the time to read our campaign, and a double thank you if you choose to donate. Hayley and I would be proud to go with our team and represent not only the state of Florida, but the city of Jacksonville. DUUUVVVAALLLLL!
